Cancellation and Refunds

A full refund will be given for cancellations made more than two weeks in advance of the tour date. In case of cancellation by the client less than two weeks in advance of the tour date, no refunds will be made, though bookings can be transferred to another date. If cancellation is the fault of Avalon Wildlife a full refund will be given. 

Please note that bad weather will not necessarily result in the cancellation of a tour or guided walk. The tour or walk will normally go ahead unless conditions are particularly bad, in which case refunds are payable at the discretion of Avalon Wildlife. We will of course attempt to adjust itineraries to cope with the conditions.

Avalon Wildlife reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion without stating a reason and also reserves the right to terminate without refund the participation of any client unable or unwilling to conduct themselves in a manner compatible with the satisfactory operation of the tour.
Disclaimer
Avalon Wildlife cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage to or theft of personal belongings or for any illness, injury or accident which may occur during a tour or guided walk unless proven to be caused by negligence on the part of Avalon Wildlife. Clients are bound to take all normal, sensible precautions and exercise an appropriate degree of care at all times. It is recommended that clients carry insurance for personal optical equipment, this is often covered by household insurance, check with your provider. Avalon Wildlife holds full public liability insurance.
Although we will make every effort to locate any species that you may particularly want to see, please remember that birds and other wildlife are creatures of their own free will, and that we cannot guarantee their presence, or good views.
Complaints
If you have cause for complaint during the tour you should notify your guide as soon as possible so that we can do our best to assist you on the day. If the issue remains unresolved you should make a written complaint within fourteen days of completion of the tour.
